PICASSO EXHIBITION IN MILAN

Picasso returns to Milan with a major retrospective in Palazzo Reale (20 September 2012 – 6 January 2013): over 200 works including paintings, drawings, sculptures and photographs. The exhibition is curated by Anne Baldassari, internationally recognised as one of the most important experts on the artist and curator of the Musée National Picasso in Paris, where the world’s largest collection of works by the Spanish artist is kept.
The anthology represents a true chronological excursus of Picasso’s production, comparing the techniques and forms of expression with which the author has tried his hand in his long career, an uninterrupted evolution of the artistic expression that runs parallel to the history of twentieth century art: amongst the many masterpieces in the exhibition are “La Celestina” (1904), “Man with the mandolin” (1911), “Portrait of Olga” (1918), “Two women Running on the Beach” (1922 ), “Paul as Harlequin” (1924), “Portrait of Dora Maar” and “The Suppliant” (1937).
For our guests, during their self catering in Vacation Rental B&B Borgo di Vigoleno®,  Milan is one of the favorite destinations to visit and they can reach the heart of the city even by train from Fidenza Station in 50 min.
